7 Statue of Liberty Was a gift to the United States from France.
Is made of copper. Has stood on Liberty Island since 1886. Liberty means freedom. The Statue of Liberty is 302 feet from its base to its torch.

9 Group Work Partner groups will research and complete their fact sheet.
Expert groups will be formed of all students who worked on the same symbol . Presentations will be given by each expert group. Each expert group will write three questions to be used on an assessment.
