4. Information about the area  Lake Lashi Watershed is on the southeastern slopes of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It was established as a nature reserve by the Yunnan provincial government.  Lake Lashi is 2500 m above sea level and is home to many migratory species of birds. It is also home to one of the rare water lilies.
