3 TECHNOLOGY FEATURES The built-in assistive technologies in Windows 8 work with both Windows 8 applications and with desktop software to provide seamless access to the entire Windows experience. Devices running Windows 8 Professional will also allow you to use assistive technology (AT) software from specialty Assistive Technology vendors. Including:  Lock  Basic Navigation  App groups  Quick access Menu  Easy access

4 ADVANTAGES  A nifty app store  Much faster start-up  A revamped Internet Explorer Web browser  Integrated online services such as Skype and SkyDrive and improved security  Windows 8 also offers, for the first time, the convenience of running a standard Windows experience across all your devices: mobile, tablet, desktop and laptop.  Windows 8 has a better interface than his elder brother Windows 7.

5 DISADVANTAGES  If you use a Metro application(for tablets)in Windows 8,application(for tablets)in Windows 8,multitasking means the screen will display multitasking means the screen will display two applications in a row. For beginners it would not be a big problem. However for the advanced user multitasking capabilities with Metro for multitasking capabilities with Metro for only two applications is a fatal  Metro is a hoax desktop - Metro was able to work well on the tablet but the UI is not very compatible when used on the desktop.  Very difficult to move between screens  There is not option to turn tiles into icons

7 SUMMARY OF BUSINESS EXPECTATIONS  The Windows 8 launch appears to be devoid of optimism---except from Microsoft executives. File this launch and the financial impact of it in the wait and see category.  Ms will review its economical first one fourth income on Friday and all eyes will be on the Ms windows 8 release next week. However, objectives for the Ms windows 8 release appear to be combined at best.  The PC industry just isn't sure what to make of Ms windows 8. Apple CEO John Otellini mentioned there are many form factors and it's uncertain which one will win. Otellini said what components eventually victories with Ms windows 8 may not be known for a season.  Microsoft is predicted to review first one fourth income of 43 pennies a discuss on income of $12.68 billion dollars before Ms windows 8 release, according to Wall Road reports. The economical second one fourth, finishing Dec. 31, is predicted to bring income of 67 pennies a discuss on income of $17.77 billion dollars..

9 SUMMARY  Microsoft Windows 8 is thus forced to meet a demanding timetable and therefore limit the range of developments that could cause widespread disruption, while providing an operating system to meet two challenges:  One is strategically and commercially very limited in the short term, taking into account the level of PC of different forms of virtualization.  The other is more tactical but commercially important in the short and medium term: to provide a credible alternative to Apple and Google Android IOS on the market shelves (or slate), whose popularity among the general public could be extended in companies.

10 RECOMMENDATIONS  Windows Consumer Preview release will let you to upgrade from Windows 7, and will run the integrated upgrade advisor and will tell you what things you need to look into. Keep in mind that there’s no way back after an upgrade installation, Microsoft recommends you to perform a system backup, before you upgrade, migrate, or clean install of Windows 8 Consumer Preview.  Basically Windows 8 will perform well as per your requirements.
