Worldwise Challenge Up to 9 teams of 3 pupils (plus accompanying teacher) will be invited to a Field Studies Council centre in April/May for a free-of- charge weekend of engaging & innovative fieldwork activities devised by the GA International Geographical Union Olympiad Essay competition for post 16 students Physical Geography Photographic Competition I mages will be judged during July. A range of prizes will be awarded to the winning entries My Places Primary Challenge Day A free-of-charge day of engaging & innovative fieldwork activities devised by the GA Primary schools build up portfolios of evidence of having participated across a range of Worldwise activities.

4 GA Support for Young People Develop a section of the website which is directly aimed at students; Explicit links to GA publications (Top Spec) and articles in Geography Journal Lesson activities with embedding career awareness e.g. enquiry or decision making exercises that reference the key people involved eg planner/vulcanologists/transport planners/home builders. Material supporting students to be HE ready – e.g students talking to camera to offer advice etc. Promoting GA branch work – lectures, links with Universities, visits?
