2 Quarterly Exam Review Your quarterly exam format will include listening examples, multiple choice, matching and short answers. It will cover material from chapters 2-5: Chapter 2- The Roots of Rock (p. 6-30) Chapter 3- The Emergence of Rock and Roll (p. 31-44) Chapter 4- Rock and Roll: Fifties Style (p. 45-79) Chapter 5- Transition: The Early 1960s (p. 80-97)

3 Quarterly Exam Review Listening Portion: 40 points You will need to name the song title and artist only. You have received a handout with all of the songs we listened to and their artists. 20 of these will be on the exam. 5 Multiple Choice: 15 points 25 Matching: 25 points Short Answers: 20 points Only 2 from the review sheet will be on the exam
