1 LESSON SIX Continue Hatchet Reading Discussion Chapters 1-6

2 Do Now  Complete the last portions of your homework from Chapters Five and Six.  We will begin class discussion at 8:30am. Be ready to survive!.

9 Get with your Crash Crew for this Project Cereal Box Summaries

10  Side 1: Cereal Box Front The front of the cereal box should provide a scene that captures the idea of the whole chapter. Use your imagination. Provide a quote that describes this scene (Don’t forget the page number). This scene should be labeled and colored. When finished, cut it out and tape it to side one. -Crew Member with the birthday closest to January 1 st  Side 2: Cereal Box Back The back of the cereal box should provide five vocabulary words from the chapter that would help another student understand the chapter. These words can be either “airplane” language or other words that may be troublesome to a student. -Crew Member with the birthday closest to December 31 st  Side 3 and 4: Cereal Box Sides Side 3- This side should have the title of the chapter written largely and clearly. Side 4- This side should have all the characters named within the chapter. Use two bullet point notes to describe each member. If there is time, draw the face of each character above their name. -Last Crew Member Left

11 Crash Crews that had tools to make over the weekend should turn those in on their way out. Any Rice Krispie Treats should also be turned in. If you have any other work that is due or late, turn it in as you leave the classroom. Survival Exit Tickets:
