1 Class pd-5 Jade Harris

2 Characters!  Nikki is a shy girl with some art skills.  She has a hard time fitting in to a new school.  She wishes she could be popular.  She the main character and a dynamic character  She is the protagonist in the story.  Mackenzie is a mean girl. Who is rich and has nice clothes.  She doesn’t like Nikki because she can draw.  She is the antagonist in the story.  She is a static character and she doesn’t change at all in the story.

3 Setting Nikki’ s School  This is Nikki’s school.She goes to prep school  Its very expensive to go to this school. Only rich kids extend this school.  Nikki’s school is the main setting. This is where all the drama occurs. There is a lot of bullying in this school.

4 Conflict  The conflict of the story is Makinzie is being mean to Nikki and talking about her behind her back. She is watching every step she makes. The type of conflict is Man Vs. Man. The resolution is when Nikki becomes herself and wins the art completion. She is finally able to beat Makinzie at something.

5 Prediction  I predict that Nikki will become herself and she doesn’t want to fit in anymore with the popular girls in the school. She wants to be different.  My prediction was true because at the end of the story she came herself and becomes popular because she different.

7 Theme  The message in the story is stay true to your self and don't care what people say and who cares what people think
