Ulrich RaichAnnual Report Preparation Meeting GSI January 2006 Definition and test of Algorithms (1) Sum and Difference Signals are sampled from Beam Position Monitors at high sampling frequency (125 MHz) In 2004 already data have been taken at CERN and GSI using fast ADCs in a PC and using a prototype version of the future data acquisition module First versions of algorithms have been designed and implemented as offline signal treatment (C program and matlab program) The algorithms have been tested on the previously acquired data. Several deficiencies have been detected and corrected
