9 8 Access to SAIL From Oakland.edu click on MySAIL on the top of the page.

10 9 MySAIL Homepage Click on Sail under Oakland Services to be redirected to the Oakland University SAIL information system.

15 14 Process Class Overrides Login to SAIL. Select “Faculty Services” Click “Registration Overrides”

16 15 Overrides can be given before registration begins Any active term can be selected then click “submit” Return to “SystemSelect Term” to change the semester Enter student information: Search by G# or last name, first name, then click “submit”

17 16 Verify selection is correct by clicking, “submit”

18 17 Choose override and course from the drop down menus, then click “submit” Confirm changes by clicking “submit”

19 18 When finished with the current student override, you may return to the page titled, “SAIL INFORMATION SYSTEM STUDENT VERIFICATION”. Once you return to this page, you may click on “ID Selection” to perform the next student’s override **Shortcut: You may also scroll down to the bottom of “Registration Permits / Overrides” page to access “ID selection” button.

20 19 Only Registered Students in Class If a person is not registered in your class, he/she is not allowed to remain in the class. Tell the person to leave.

22 21 Incomplete Grades and Date Faculty grade students as usual Click “submit” to save entries

23 22 Students who received incomplete grades are re-displayed You see the default grade to which the Incomplete will change if the work is not done on time. You may change the grade if appropriate. You see the longest day through which the grade can be changed. You may shorten the time at our discretion.

24 23 Last Date of Attendance Faculty enter grades as usual and press “submit” Error Last date of attendance is required for each student who gets a U or 0.0 grade

25 24 Date must be entered in this exact format for grades to be successfully submitted. mm/dd/yyyy If a student never attended, enter the first day of the semester into “Last Attend Date”. Also enter 0 in the “Attend Hours” field.

26 25 Grade Change From the Registrar’s page, click on “Faculty/Staff Resources” or type in the link.

28 27 Graduation Application Deadline Type in the link to be directed to the Graduation Application page. OR From the Registrar’s page, click “Apply for Graduation”
