Progress File for each level of the Welsh Bac being delivered in the centre Process led and managed by the WBQ Co-ordinator Can be presented in a number of ways – wallet file, ring binder, memory stick, moodle

Maintain a Course Progress File for each discrete programme e.g. vocational Collate evidence from these files as part of the internal standardisation process to provide a representative sample for the Centre Progress File.

No need to send course file to WJEC moderator unless requested (unlikely). Where there is joint teaching of Intermediate & Foundation – only one Progress File required. Intermediate Foundation

Each file should include a WB2 - outline delivery plan showing how candidates in the centre have met the Welsh Baccalaureate core requirements. Where there are a number of Teaching Groups/Vocational Programme Areas, a WB2 - outline delivery plan must be submitted for each. Evidence should illustrate the range of activities/experiences undertaken by candidates and will generally help to support what is recorded in candidate diaries.

WEW & PSE including each of the key issues Community Participation and the Language Module WRE including working with an employer and team enterprise. Personal tutoring Key skills (key skills folios are not required, rather explanatory and/or exemplar material may be included)

N.B. The same activity must not be used twice. Sometimes WEW and PSE issues overlap e.g. racism. In this case the activities related to this activity should be allocated to a key issue in either WEW or PSE, but not both.

Examples of WBQ materials designed by teachers e.g. extracts from a scheme of work, a PowerPoint presentation on political issues, a brochure for the team enterprise activity, a WBQ induction programme. Examples of work produced by candidates e.g. a series of annotated graphs showing results of a survey on asylum seekers, a presentation about recycling, a brochure on healthy eating or an article on a WBQ activity for a local newspaper.

Evidence of activities involving outside speakers or external bodies e.g. a worksheet relating to a heritage visit, a handout given to candidates, notes made by candidates. Examples of materials relating to personal tutoring e.g. candidate action plans, guidance documents. Evidence of delivery and success in key skills e.g. explanatory notes, limited extracts from key skills folios demonstrating the integration of key skills and the Welsh Bac Core.

Evidence highlighting the process of internal moderation/verification and regular review and monitoring of Welsh Baccalaureate delivery outlined in the WB2 form should also be included e.g. minutes from team meetings in a discrete programme area and at centre level.

Provide a representative sample Don’t provide too much ! Enough to demonstrate a quality WBQ experience
