6 Personal Opinion on the Issue: Point What is your general point of view? Provide a statement which states your overall opinion.

7 Personal Opinion on the Issue: Proof You need to provide evidence that supports your overall opinion. Academic research is needed here to support your overall view.

8 Personal Opinion on the Issue: Link (Concluding thoughts) Summarize the reasons why your point of view on the issue should be accepted by the class.

9 Creative Element (Cartoon, poster, video or song)

10 Bibliography (Sources Used) Be sure to list your sources in alphabetical order in the University of Chicago style. (see assignment guidelines)

11 Group Questions for Discussion Develop five (5) questions for class discussion. Avoid questions that have a direct answer. Instead, you want to ask questions that promote class discussion by asking students their opinions on the same issues that your group has discussed.
