3 Almost every country besides the United States has found a way to accommodate the blind or visually impaired citizens. There are many ways to do this, but yet the U.S. has not adopted any of these methods. Here are a few examples:  Different size of bills  Adding raised dots on the surface of the bill  Changing colors of the bills  Notched edges According to Jay McDonald, author of Keeping Currency, “The U.S. greenback stands alone as the only major world currency still invisible to the blind.”
