14 Data Management?? What is data management to you? Who has lots of data? How does Google work? –Does it work well? Ideas how they manage it ? ? ?

15 Why do we need management techniques? Would we have an international credit card system? Would we be able to use cell phone internationally? –How do they charge and track your calls? Where is that info stored? How does NTTA manage toll-tag charges and fines?

16 Why do we need management techniques? To quickly search for information To analyze data quickly –Forecasting –Prediction Mine for information that we didn’t even know we didn’t know. Perform calculations on massive data sets very quickly
