1 The consumption habits between two cities: Hong Kong and Melbourne By The Phoenix (KiKi, Daisy, Jaime)

2 What did we do before our trip? Before the study trip, we did a lot of things. We have done the proposal to list out what we need to do and wish to learn in this study trip.

3 The Proposal- We wish to know that: How will they spend their money? Will they spend more money on the clothes or other places? Is all the food in Melbourne more expensive than Hong Kong? What food is cheaper than Hong Kong? How often will they go out to shop or eat?

4 We already knew that: The restaurant there is expensive. Hong Kong has more shops and restaurants. We are interested in this topic because we want to know more things about their daily expenses like how they spend the money or will they always have meal outside.

6 We have done a questionnaire about buying habits We asked 30 classmates to do this questionnaire.They are 10-12 years old. There are 16 boys and 14 girls

There are 2 men and 4 women: 1.She likes to shop in HK because there are lots of choices. 2.She likes to shop in HK because it is so cheap and so many choices and many brands. 3.She likes to shop in HK because she likes buying things. 4.She likes to shop in HK because the shops have big sale. 5.He likes to shop in HK because it is convenient to shop in HK. He likes to go to the game shop most. 6.He likes to shop in HK because he likes shopping. He likes to go to the sport shop and buy a sport shirt there.

15 HK: Q2. Do you like to eat in HK? Why? We asked 6 teachers. There are 2 men and 4 women too: 1.She likes to eat in HK because there are a lot of choices in HK restaurant. 2.She likes to eat in HK because there are lots of kinds, the restaurants are clean and it is convenient. 3.She likes to eat in HK because she loves eating very much and there are different styles of food. 4.She likes to eat in HK because there are different kinds of food, very low of prices and many cuisine. 5.He likes to eat in HK because the food in HK is tasty. He likes the Chinese food most. 6.He likes to eat in HK because he likes eating. He likes the Thai food most.

16 We want to find out the price difference of some daily necessities. And we also want to find out the causes making the daily necessities in Melbourne either cheaper or more expensive than Hong Kong.
