19 Tips to Obtain Permission Keep phone calls short; primarily to connect with the right person (then send them all the information via email). Use suggested email text as a guide. Be patient! You might be sent on a wild goose chase. Be persistent! Call again! If you can’t connect with anyone, you may need to reject the resource and move on. Page 19

20 Other Guidance Regarding Copyright When conducting a Gatekeeping or Quality Criteria review, you do not need to check the license. If you see a resource posted in the Digital Library that you believe violates copyright laws, please flag it. Page 20
