It was a still, starry night. The sky was as black as coal and all that could be heard was the hoot of a solitary owl and a gentle rustle, as the breeze danced through the trees. The entrance to the Magik Circus was quiet and deserted. A sign by the entrance held a poster: Artistes Wanted.

The miserable girl, who lived all by herself, had no money to pay the bills. She stud by the table will a box which was rusty and old,a half empty bottle and a flickering candle light stud in a silent room. Her only coin dropped into her money box full of bills to pay. Inside the box her only coin glistened. She had no money to feed and no money to drink.

The brass teapot was hopping along in the middle of the street looking for a job. Suddenly the teapot discovered a sign on a post looking for someone to get a job. Soon the girl got in her tiny, uncomfortable bed and fell asleep. She always struggled to go to sleep because of the stench of the covers.

Suddenly the girl was awoken by the noises coming from the circus she could hear someone or something jumping about. She got out of her bed and stared out of the window and wondered what she could see. She saw the shadow of a teapot in the big top in front of the place where she lived

She walked into the circus but the shadow that she saw before had disappeared. She was looking around like she had seen it before. The teapot came jumping out of the curtains from back stage. And hopped towards the girl. The girl went closer and closer to the teapot until it scared her and she jumped back with fright.

She was shocked to see the little teapot hopping around jumping up and down. He was clanging his lid on the top of this pot suddenly a flash of light came out of no were. Then the genie came popping out of the pot he suck his head as he came out he was dizzy The genie popped out of the teapot and startled the little girl. He suddenly brought out a plant and the girl jumped back with fright again.

She was so scared because it was a plant that could bite you and seriously hurt you. It kept on snapping at you. The genie tried and tried to calm the plant down but it wouldn’t stay still. He decided to through the plant on the floor. As the genie put his plant away the girl was thinking that the genie was mental. Then the genie pulled out the poster of the arties wanted to act in the circus.

She was wondering if she should give the genie a job or not. She said “ show me some of your ideas then if you want a job here.” “fine then” said the genie. “here are my ideas if you really want to see them. I’ll just pull this tab and you will see my ideas. “ the first idea is: I will put you in a box and chop you up into pieces and organise you again. The second idea is : I will put you on a spinning wheel and through things at you. the last idea is: I will stand you up and fire a canon ball at you.

The young, little girl started to cry because the genies ideas were no good. See soon turned around sobbing her eyes out. The genie felt so bad for little girl so he decided to surprise her…… He held is wand up high and turned himself into a frog. “tadah” said the genie. “rib it” said the genie that had turned himself into a frog.

“ she threw me up into the air a million times” ribbeted the frog. The frog also said the she laughed at him. “The frog looked at me with a really dirty, green face. He also looked at me like he wanted to say “ what are you going to do with me?” The girl closed the curtains and then she opened them again. As soon as she opened them the show started.

The frog jumped and was supposed to grab the bar but missed it and it slapped him on his chin. Then he suddenly fell to the floor. As he fell to the floor he bounced off a ball and went flying! She shoved the frog in the cannon. She only shoved him in the cannon because of his mean ideas. She set the cannon of and the frog went flying in the air.

The frog was still in the air when the crowd was cheering and whistling at them. The frog fell to the floor with a bang and the crowd was throwing money onto the stage and the girl now had money to pay her bills.
