Rules Governing PD -60 vs 36 – Minimum requirement -Scheduled PD – content must be ADE approved, you can facilitate “in-house” -This year’s scheduled PD is Parent Involvement -Dyslexia Professional Awareness is required this year, and law prescribes 2 components -Pay attention to trainings specific to administrators -Rule update videovideo

6. Flexibility in PD - PLCs - Book studies - Individualized PD - Meet the PGP for 18, 2 scheduled, dyslexia, specific job PD, but the rest can be flexible - Meet the definition of professional development (Section 4) and criteria or focus area (Section 8)
