2. Charity Organizations Meals on Wheels Salvation Army Judeo Christian Clinic

3. The purpose of my presentation is to talk to you about Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army and Judeo Christian Clinic which are organizations that help poor people.

4. Meals on Wheels of Tampa is committed to the mission of helping and supporting the lives of older people.  Serve approximately 750 meals.  They do this by sending a volunteer to deliver a meal.  For many of the seniors a visit from a volunteer is the only human contact.

6. The Salvation Army has been helping people of Tampa since 1893.  Each day more than 200 homeless call the Salvation Army for help.  Operates 125 bed Emergency Shelter and 50 bed Hospitality Transitional House.  Provide also toiletries and cleaning products.

8. The Judeo Christian Clinic provides health care for residents of Hillsborough County with limited income who do not qualify for other health care coverage.  Judeo Christian covers primary and specialty care, pharmaceuticals and others services.  Some physicians volunteer their time at the clinic.  Recorded just under 40, 000 patients visits last year.

9. These three organizations we have talked bring hope to the poor in our Tampa, charitable organizations that help and give encouragement in difficult times. In my opinion these organizations other than helping poor people are also an example that you can always do something to contribute and give thanks for what God in his love has given us.
