New Testament Model Acts 2:41-47 n People accepting Christ were baptized, n Met in each others homes, n Studied the Apostles’ teaching (Bible), n Shared fellowship (cared for each other), n Broke bread (shared meals & communion), n Praised God.
n Meets in Homes. n Eats together. n Shares life. n Prays for each other. n Studies the Bible. n Worships in house groups.
We gain... n Close Fellowship with God and with each other, n A shared Faith Journey, n Encouragement to Grow in Christ, n Intimate Worship, and n Life Change.
We avoid... n Heavy Capital Outlays. n High Monthly Operating Costs. n Committee and Board Meetings. n Distractions from our mission and purpose.
Faith Alive Prays n For each other and the World. n For who God is going to send to fill the open chair. n That we all may be one in Christ. n That we honor God in everything we do 24x7. n That our service is a delight to God.
Faith Alive seeks to n Attract THOSE who don’t know Jesus. n Prepare folks to reach out to others. n Joyfully serve. n Love people into belief. n Be fully committed to Christ. n Avoid building a building.
