2 Justification  Noni Melosa is a new product in the market; a jam made of Noni and Pineapple.  both fruits good for the consumer taste and most important the health. The Noni has very important characteristic which will fulfill the nutrition.  It is known to treat cancer, good for heart diseases, and combined with pineapple will make a good product a very healthy to try.

3 Situation Analysis  Current Analysis  Our product is new on the market, it is in the introductory stage.  Our purpose is to get Noni Melosa in the Guatemalan market since this country is located in a strategic point, being in the middle of North America and South America, and because Guatemala is the main country in Central America to commercialize with the United States.  If the product is well received in Guatemala with success we can focus towards doing business with other countries like USA in the long term.

4  External Environment  We know that the jam market already has its own national products and international mainly coming from the US, most of them at a very high cost.  This is where we come in promoting a nutritional and healthy jam for kids and adults consumption at a very accessible price and providing a 100% natural product, no preservatives.

5 Risk  Political Risk  Political risk: High  Guatemala has a high poverty rate, with more than half of the population living below the poverty line.  Guatemala’s current president has vowed to reduce crime and infant malnutrition.  Weak institutions and corruption are obstacles to economic growth in Guatemala.

6 Limited Government  The top income and corporate tax rates are 31 %.  Other taxes include a value-added tax (VAT) and a tax on real estate, is 10.7% of total domestic income.  Government spending corresponds to 14, 3 % of total domestic output.  The budget balance continues to be in deficit, although public debt remains less 25 percent of GDP

7 Economic Environment  Guatemala have growth of 2.6%, with 3.6% in 5-year compound annual growth.  Guatemala have Unemployment of 3.2% Guatemala has an inflation of 3.9%.

9 Technological Environment  Guatemala is well developing in the telecommunications sector which gives us the chance to get different options in the market and pick up the best one in order to be aware of the arrival of the products in the retailers.  Due this product will be export we must take in considerations all the machinery necessary in Ecuador to manufacture our product with the standard policies in the country of Ecuador.

10 Level of commitment  Staff training, technical and motivational.  1.- we can encourage staff and build a better relationship between co- workers, creating a comfortable work environment and encouraging.  2. Continually evaluate staff and provide training courses that teach new techniques of production and innovation.  3. Recognition of the best employees by giving them financial incentives, in addition to other awards such as travel, which will generate a sense of improvement in personal and therefore will be a better production.
