3. 2014 fieldwork - Leave US for China in early or middle of June - Train local helpers (one week) - Thank you gift for respondents and local officials who might help - Logistic arrangement (accommodate, transportation and so on) - Conduct survey on 700 households (about 4 weeks, vary with how many local helpers we hire) - Local data digitizing, correcting, cleaning, and compiling (one week) - Total estimated time for the fieldtrip: 6-7 weeks
