11. Obstacles Unavailability of certain parts Circuitry too complex a deliverable Original motor-controllers from previous VERTIGO team missing Project completion time frame too short –Time spent in junior design could have been utilized for working on project

12. Solutions to Obstacles Use of alternative parts –Standard DC motors and controller Use of DC motor instead of 3-phase motor Due to short time frame –Guidance from some members of the previous year’s VERTIGO team for ideas and development planning –Features were reduced

Communication between base station and on- board system (joystick controls with PIC) Installation of DC motors on the VERTIGO craft Aircraft Repair System Integration –DC motors connected mechanically but not electrically Overall plane integration
