Dropping a module IMPORTANT Before 23 Aug 2015: without penalty 24 Aug – 27 Sep 2015 : W-grade** From 28 Sep 2015 : F-grade** ** ‘W’ = ‘Withdrawn’, and ‘F’ = ‘Fail’ Absent from Examination Deemed to have sat and failed unless with valid reasons

13 Leave of Absence (LOA) Leave of Absence within Semester
Business Trips, ICT, Medical, etc. Max allowed: 3 weeks, 4 weeks if include NS duties Check with Module Instructors on policy for missing mid-terms, assignments, etc. Leave of Absence for Whole Semester Up to 2 semesters of leave not counted towards the maximum candidature period Applicable if more than 3 weeks (or more than 4 weeks if include NS duties) Application must be submitted via MYISIS at least 2 weeks in advance of proposed leave period

CAP (Cumulative Average Point) = Average grade point of all modules taken Academic Warning: CAP < 3.0 Termination of candidature if CAP in 1st semester < or For 2 consecutive semesters, CAP < 3.0

16 Graduation Requirements
Complete and pass total 40 MC with CAP ≥ 3.0: All 3 core modules (12 MC) Project LI 5001 (8 MC) 5 Electives (20 MC) Not more than 8 MC can be at level The rest must be at Level 5000. Not more than 2 elective (8 MC) modules at 5000 level or above can be taken outside the list of approved MSc(SCM) modules Cannot repeat a module which has passed for the purpose of improving the CAP. If fail a core module or project: Repeat it If fail an elective module: Repeat it or take another one

17 LI 5001 Research Project Link: 8 Modular Credits (8 MC) Full-Time Students - Done over 1 semester Part-Time Students Self- generated project : Can be done in 1 or 2 semesters TLI-AP sourced project : Must be done in 1 semester Complete under supervision of a faculty member in area of Supply Chain Management.
