The Stockley Center and You 5 Honor the history, purpose and commitment of the Stockley Center, the residents, families, staff and related communities. Focus on the residents of the Stockley Center, including a commitment to maintain and build upon a peaceful, safe and secure environment. Support integration and enhancement of the center’s capacity to help anyone continue to improve individual wellness, which leads to population health. Endorse universal design principles in interpretation of any physical, experiential or programmatic features. Value productive partnerships from business, not-for- profit, recreational, health and other fields. General Principles

The Stockley Center and You 6 Telehealth: Dr. Gerard Gallucci, a collaborative member, detailed the advances both here at the Stockley Center and across the rest of the state that we are making in telehealth – bridging the distance between patient and provider. Trails: DNREC’s Kendall Sommers, a collaborative member, is working with the staff at the Stockley Center to map the trails, plan a clean-up and open limited trails to the public. Temporary trails are open today. The Early Priorities

The Stockley Center and You 7 The trails will help to turn the Stockley Center into a destination for the public – for people of all abilities. Telehealth will help to connect individuals to specialty care in Kent and Sussex counties without forcing them to travel great distances. The Early Priorities: Benefits

The Stockley Center and You 8 Friends of Stockley: Facebook page created under this name, both for communications and for future fundraising. Good stories to tell: As telehealth and the trails move closer to public use, we will include statewide media and use social media to get out information. Additional background can be found at: dhss.delaware.gov/dhss/admin/stockleycollaborative The Early Priorities: Communications

The Stockley Center and You Next Steps: Our Discussion List Expand the use of the therapeutic pool and other therapeutic facilities for individuals with disabilities.
