5.  Joshua 24:14-15 –  (14) Joshua tells them that they should fear the Lord, serve Him, & put away other gods.  (15) Yet, they still have the power to choose what to do.  Hebrews 11:24-25 – Moses had the power to choose the people of God over the riches in Egypt.

6.  Isaiah 65:12 – “chose that in which I do not delight”  Psalm 119:30-34 – “I have chosen the way of Truth”

8.  Joshua 24:18-19 – Joshua tells them that they cannot serve God and foreign gods.  Matthew 6:24 – “No one can serve two masters”  Matthew 12:30 – “He who is not with Me is against Me”

9.  Matthew 7:13-14 – “Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate… that leads to destruction”  Matthew 7:24-27 – “hears these sayings of Mine, and does them”

11.  Joshua 24:15 – “choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve”  Ezekiel 18:20 – “shall be upon himself”  Romans 14:11-12 – “each of us shall give account”  II Corinthians 5:10 – “we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ”

15.  Joshua 24:15-24 –  (15) “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”  (16) “Far be it from us that we should forsake the Lord”  (18) “We also will serve the Lord, for He is our God”  (24) “The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!”

17.  Will you choose to serve the Lord in sincerity and truth?  Will you obey God that may have become His child and have the hope of heaven?  Will you reject God and His invitation?  Whatever your choice, you must choose.

18.  Hear the Gospel of Christ (Romans 10:17)  Believe in Jesus (Romans 1:16)  Repent of Sins (Luke 13:3)  Confess faith in Christ (Romans 10:10)  Be Baptized in Water (Romans 6:3-4)  Grow and Be Faithful (Matthew 10:22)  If err, repent and pray to God (Acts 8:22)
