1 Objective:To assess the effect of various clopidogrel and aspirin regimens on major CV events and ST in ACS patients undergoing PCI. Study:Multicenter, randomized trial. 2 x 2 factorial design. Population:ACS patients (STEMI, NSTEMI, unstable angina with ST depression). Endpoint: Composite of CV death, MI or stroke. 5 Mehta et al. Lancet 2010;376:1233-43 Conclusion:In patients undergoing PCI for ACS a 7 day double dose clopidogrel regimen was associated with a reduction in CV events and ST. No difference was found between high and low dose aspirin. CURRENT-OASIS 7
