5. Early Christians used the candles and the advent wreath as a sign of Christ.

6. By the Middle Ages, the Christians adapted this tradition and used Advent wreaths as part of their spiritual preparation for Christmas.

7. Of course one of the main ingredients to an advent wreath is holly ya’ll!

8. The red berries on the holly symbolize the blood Christ shed for you SO YOU BETTER BE THANKFUL!
