1 High School Requirements

2 Courses of Study There are four courses of study- 1. Career Prep: for students planning to enter the workforce or military after high school graduation 2. College Tech Prep: for students planning to attend technical programs such as those offered at a community college or to enter the military after high school graduation.

3 Courses of Study Continued 3. College/University Prep: for students planning to attend a four-year college or university after high school graduation 4. Occupational: for students with Individual Education Plans (IEP)

4 Career/Technical Pathways Agricultural Technologies Air Force JROTC Allied Health Science Arts and Humanities Automotive Technologies Business Technologies Construction Technologies Family & Consumer Sciences

5 Requirements In order to graduate, ALL Students must complete 4 credits in one pathway, with one course being in an upper level class.

6 Career Prep and College Tech Prep Core Classes- 4 English Credits 4 Math Credits 4 History Credits 3 Science Credits Other Requirements- Health/PE: 1 Credit Pathway: 4 Credits Electives: 5 Credits Total: 25 Credits to graduate

7 College/University Prep Same requirements as Career Prep and College Tech Prep with a few exceptions: Need 2 Credits of Foreign Language in the same language. Need only 3 electives.

8 Occupational Prep Occupational English I, II, III, IV Occupational Intro to math, occupational algebra I, occupational financial management. Occupational Applied Science, Occupational Biology. Government/U.S. History, and Self-Advocacy/Problem Solving. Health/PE: 2 Credits Career/Pathway: 4 Credits Additional Credits: 8 credits to be determine with your counselor.

9 Core Classes In order to graduate you must pass certain core classes- English or Honors English I, II, III, IV Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and one advanced level math course. 1 Physical Science, 1 Life Science, and 1 Earth/Environmental Science. World History, Civics and Economics, American History I and II.
