1 Team C November 30, 2012 Major Document 5

2  Create a document in a Microsoft Office.  You can create a document in either Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Excel or any Microsoft Office program.

3  After completing the document, save your document.  Click File and then Save. A screen will come up.  If you are doing a document under Microsoft Word, save the file under ‘Rich Text Format’. Otherwise, save you file under the document you are using.  Choose the place you would like to save your document. Example, click computer or jump- drive.  Finally, exit out of your saved document.

4  Click the internet source, such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.  In the web browser, type ecampus.dcccd.edu, this will take you to E-campus website.  Enter your student ID and password.  Access the class the document is for.

5  Click on the tab “Submit Assignments.”  In the middle of the screen there are two tabs. They are ”Browse My Computer” and “Browse Course”. Choose “Browse My Computer”.  A mini screen will show. Choose the file your document is saved in. Click the “Open” tab.  On the assignment screen, your file will be attached to the assignment.  Finally, click the “Submit” tab and your document will be submitted.

6  To make sure your assignment was received, click “Tools”, then “Grade Book”.  If your assignment was received, there will be an exclamation mark (!), meaning it needs to be graded.  If it was not received, there will be dashes, meaning you will have to resubmit your document.
