4 MyPlate is the current nutrition guide published by the United States Department of Agriculture, a food circle (i.e. a pie chart) depicting a place setting with a plate and glass divided into five food groups. It replaced the USDA's MyPyramid guide on June 2, 2011, ending 19 years of USDA food pyramid diagrams.

5 Dietary Guidelines for Americans ● A set of recommendations about smart eating and physical activity for all Americans o Can be summed up by MyPlate

7 MyPlate Walk-about Activity Now that you know the dietary guidelines lets test your ability to apply them. In your groups come up with 3 ideas demonstrating how someone could apply each guideline and post it.
