The main objectives of the Ayrshire eCare Project for MGF2 were :  The implementation of an electronic single shared assessment framework for older people across Ayrshire;  To ensure that staff have access to the information they need when and where they need it and that underlying support mechanisms are in place to maintain the service;  To create a resilient, scaleable environment capable of expanding into other service areas;  To manage the seamless integration of current software platforms into a central eCare server and to provide the subsequent information to clinicians and practitioners as is appropriate.
