Individual Performance of an advert (as done in weeks 3 and 4 of the semester). You will be familiar with the structure but the advert will be new. Any difficult vocabulary will be provided. You will have about 3 mins to prepare, the performance should also last about 3 minutes.

2 Political Nightmares!

3 You are about to be interviewed by a journalist who has a reputation for embarrassing politicians and exposing their faults. If this interview goes badly you could lose your job. Luckily someone who works for you managed to steal a copy of the journalist's notes. You have ten minutes to think about the questions that the journalist is likely to ask you and to think of suitable answers that will hopefully save your job. The situation - Politicians

4 You are about to interview a top politician and are keen to show that they are bad at their job. The government has been under a lot of pressure recently and don't want any more mistakes. You have worked very hard getting information that these politicians would like to forget. This is a your big chance to improve your reputation and further your career. The situation - journalists

5 Instructions 1.Class split in half – journalists and politicians 2.Prepare individually for your role. 3.Go to sit with your partner 4.Argue all of the points together. 5.Perform one or two points in front of the class.

You own shares in a company who are responsible for cutting down large sections of the rain forest. 4. Earlier in your career you worked for a large oil company and helped cover-up an oil spill in Alaska. 5.
