8 Traditional Option Admission Requirements  Minimum overall GPA 2.5  Minimum prerequisite GPA 2.7  Prerequisite grades of ‘C’ or better  HESI A2 Admission Assessment  Applications available September 15  Application deadline March 1  160 spaces (approx.) available for Fall 2011 - Edwardsville campus  40 spaces available for Fall 2011 – Carbondale campus  Applicants prioritized on a point value system based on completion of required admission prerequisites and any repeats of these prerequisites

9 Nursing Admission Checklist  Sign up for the Fall prerequisite courses as listed on the curriculum guide  Complete all prerequisites by the end of Spring 2012  Fill out the Nursing application prior to March 1,2012 (available September 15, 2011)  Sign up for the HESI exam early – test is offered on specific dates (October-February) Must be completed prior to March 1, 2012 Questions??  Individual appointments are available Monday through Friday during school year – please call for an appointment (618) 650- 3956. Designated walk-in times are also available.
