God told Adam not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and that if Adam did eat of that tree, he would die! -Genesis 2:16,17 Disobedience is a sin! The Bible says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” -Romans 5:12

When Jesus died, He paid the price of sin, which He did not have to pay. Jesus died on that Cross for us. died, He paid the price for something He did not have to pay There on the Cross God the Father put the sins of the whole world on Jesus. With His own blood Jesus bought the gift of eternal life for us from GOD. How?

Would you be willing to accept a gift from GOD? The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...” -Acts 16:31 Saved from what?

The lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: Here’s the good news: “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life...” -John 3:36 BELIEVE WHAT EXACTLY?

You must believe that we are all sinners and that there is a penalty for sin, which is death and Hell. You must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He paid for your sins when He died on the Cross. When you put your trust in Jesus, He will come into your heart, cleanse you from your sins, and take you to Heaven when you die. WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO PRAY AND ASK JESUS TO SAVE YOU FROM YOUR SIN?

“ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” -John 3:16

LET’S TALK ABOUT BAPTISM

Baptism is a picture of the death,

the burial,

and the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST.

The first thing you must know is that baptism does not save you; Jesus saves you. Second, you must be born again by believing you have trusted Christ as your personal Saviour. -Acts8:37

Third, you’re baptized with water. -Matthew 3:11 HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

You and a pastor will be in the water together. He will tell everyone your name and announce that he is baptizing you in the name of the FATHER, the SON, and the HOLY GHOST. Then hold your breath.

As the pastor lowers you under the water, the picture is of you dying with Christ -Romans 6:3 For the second that you are under the water, that’s a picture of you being buried with Christ. -Romans 6:4a As he quickly brings you up out of the water, the last picture is of you being Resurrected with CHRIST JESUS. -Romans 6:4a These pictures are a testimony of your SALVATION.

.

Just like you had to learn how to crawl and walk and talk, now as a Christian you need to learn how to read your Bible and pray and serve God so you can lead others to the Lord. After all, someone helped you trust Christ as your Saviour.

How do I do that? You learn those things by being faithful to church and by being obedient to God’s Word.
