4. 2 nd period Dad said that desk has gum hanging from it. IC=simple sentence #2. Compound----There is gum under the desk, and it looks very disgusting. (There is gum under the desk; it looks very disgusting.) 3. Complex sentence--- When someone got gum on their leg, he/she had to change his/her pants. 4. 2 nd complex sentence- -- He ate chips at the store until he was full.

5. 3 rd Period I sat in the dirty desk. (IC=Simple) Compound: The desk looked old, and it sat next to a window. I jumped over the desk, and I hurt myself. SC,IC (Complex) Although you can’t get up in the middle of class, don’t put your gum under the desk. Although the desk was covered in gum, the kids still played outside.
