Since 2009, our mission is to educate, inspire and celebrate the visual and performing arts within the community of Nazareth.

The Nazareth Center for the Arts opened the doors to the public in 2009. In the first year, there were many events including music performances, art receptions, poetry readings, and open mic nights. Today, the Center continues to offer a variety of events that has expanded to include art and music classes as well as Write Nights, a collaborative writer’s group. It also serves as a venue for private events.

Fall and Spring Concert Series For the past 2 years, The Nazareth Center for the Arts has offered a Fall and Spring concert series. These concerts are comprised of 2 to 3 musical acts mostly from the Northeast region of the U.S. and can be categorized as Folk or Americana music. These are independent artists who are up-and- coming but still desire small, intimate concert settings. Local artists also play at The Center and include Erin Kelly and The Beautiful Distortion.

Spring 2015 Concert Series: Two bands who played in the Spring concert series. These are returning artists who proved to be popular at previous concerts.

Jamie Kent opened for a headlining act in our Spring 2014 concert series. He was so well-received by our patrons that we brought him back for the Spring 2015 series. Here are Jamie’s thoughts regarding The Center: “The Nazareth Center For the Arts is truly a hidden gem in the American music scene. I spend 200+ days a year playing shows across the country, and NCA is really one of the best out there. Erik runs the venue with an unrivaled passion for music that is clearly reflected in the quality of every concert. I had never been to Nazareth before, but now it'll forever be a favorite tour stop for me!”

National Artists who have come to The Center: Gail Davies is a national country music artist who played at NCA twice, the 2 nd time at her request. Willie Watson, formerly of Old Crow Medicine Show, to date has been one of our most successful concerts. The show sold out and brought many younger patrons who had not been to The Center before and they left with a very positive concert experience.
