2 What was it ● I t was an attempt by black soldiers in WW2 to demonstrate that by helping to win victory in the war, that they could establish conditions domestically for victory over discrimination. It's immediate effect was the end of racial discrimination in the military services. ● The first V for victory over our enemies from without, the second V for victory over our enemies from within

3 WheN The Double V program started after the pearl harbor attack when America needed African Americans to fight in the war against our enemies and the domestically

4 significant groups The courier - was one of the leaders of the black press. It pretty much created the “The double V program” which promoted civil right for african americans
