5 To determine if two Ratios are equivalent… I.Write the Ratios as Fractions. II.Reduce Ratios to simplest form; if the Ratios are the same in simplest form, then the Ratios are equivalent. *** You can also rewrite the fractions with common denominators to compare the Ratios….. Or use “criss-cross” multiplication.
