3 Houses are made of lots of different materials that are: Corrugated Metals Wood Walls Stone Walls Manure Concrete Building Blocks Steel Bars Houses are warm in Jamaica because of the materials they are made of. So you won’t have to be worried about freezing in the winter or in cold temperatures.

4 Weather in Jamaica is usually scorching hot with lovely golden sand beaches that will make your feet jump up and down it’s so hot! In the summer season there are hurricanes and windstorms. It never goes under a warm 15 degrees. There sometimes is torrential rain that goes on for quite a long time.

5 In Jamaica the children still have to wear school clothes like we do here. To get into secondary school children have to pass an exam, some children pass the exam but can’t go to secondary school because they can’t afford it. Like here they have different lessons and have some of their fantastic work put on displays.

6 In Jamaica they eat lots of different types of food, the most famous one is Jerk Chicken. The foods include: Coconuts & Sorrel Ackee and Saltfish Pepperpot Soup Curried Goat Cow Feet Pig Ears Pig Tails Bammy Bread Exotic Fruit

7 Jobs in Jamaica aren’t really the same as they are here. There aren’t many jobs to do. The most jobs done by adults are: Farming Hotels Growing Plants, Fruit & Vegetables Mining Souvenir Selling Working in Hotels Making Things

8 In Jamaica there are lots of opportunities for entertainment for children and adults, including: Brownies Water Parks Basketball Baseball Football And lots more fun things
