2. Autosome inheritance- dominant and recessive (a carrier does not show disease in recessive inheritance)

3. Sex-linked trait inheritance
Genes that are located on the sex chromosomes are called sex-linked traits
Examples –Baldness and colorblindness

4. Incomplete Dominance
Incomplete dominance is when the heterozygous phenotype is somewhere between the two homozygous phenotypes

5. Codominance
Codominance is when both alleles of a gene are expressed completely- neither allele is dominant nor recessive

6. Polygenic Traits
Polygenic traits- traits produced by two or more genes

7. Epistasis
An epistatic gene can interfere with the expression of other genes
