H1N1 aka “swine flu” 1st detected in the US in April 2009 Usually mild, doesn’t typically require medical treatment 3-5 days of illness If a student has “influenza-like illness” (ILI): 1.The student should call SHS at 215.746.3535 2.A nurse on the Flu Line will help the student figure out how to proceed

12. Infection control ▫Wash hands often! ▫Avoid touching eyes, nose, mouth. ▫Get flu shot(s) ▫Social distancing ▫If you’re sick, self-isolate (until fever-free for 24 hours)
