9 Group Work 1 partner will meet me in the back of the room to get a poster and a marker. Each group is making a poster with: –1. Addition and subtraction with rational #’s –2. Multiplication or division with rational #’s –3. Anything goes! Partner 1 does addition and subtraction. Partner 2 does multiplication or division. Work together on the 3 rd problem.

10 Addition and/or subtraction word problem Jim has 7/8 of a pizza and Lisa has ½ of a pizza. How much pizza do Jim and Lisa have in all? Multiplication or division word problem Mason has 8 cups of popcorn kernels to divide into 2/3 cup portions. How many portions will there be? Anything goes! (conversion, computation, etc) 1.45 + ⅝ ×.75 TEAM NAME!

11 Group Work You will have 15 minutes to make your poster. Once you have written down your problems, you must make an answer sheet on a separate sheet of notebook paper. Your answer sheet must include completed IDK charts and answers. Once your poster and answer sheet are finished, staple answer sheet to poster. Remember! You are working with only your group and you are using 10 in voices!
