4 » Financial Aid Facts ˃Financial Aid is funds provided to students and families to help pay for postsecondary educational expenses ˃Last year (2009-10), there was $154 billion in financial aid awarded to undergraduate students. ˃Cost of attendance includes : (see handout) +Tuition, books and on-campus housing costs +Necessary expenses such as transportation, personal care, not paid to the college ˃All costs combined determines the cost of attendance for the college. Depends on the school.
