4 Proper Noun A proper noun names a particular person, place, thing, or idea that begins with a capital letter. Ex. Christiana Middle School

5 Concrete Nouns A concrete noun names a person, place, or thing that can be perceived by one or more of the senses. Ex. Music, photograph

6 Abstract Nouns An abstract noun names an idea, feeling, quality, or characteristic. Ex. love, fun, wisdom

7 Collective Nouns A collective noun is a word that names a group. Ex. audience, family, class
