2 content process/didactics high low high The x-axis describes the level of knowledge when it comes to the PROCESS and the DIDACTICS, meaning time management, methodology, etc- - starting with low (left) to high (right) The y-axis describes the level of knowledge when it comes to CONTENT, starting from low (on the bottom) to high (on the top)

3 Let‘s start with the moderation..

4 Question: Where do you see yourself as a moderator?

5 content process/didactics high low high moderator Minimum level of knowledge content-wise (moderator) Workshop - moderator Increase of knowledge As a moderator you should no at least a bit about the CONTENT of your workshop Of course you are also allowed to know more about it, but be sure to stay neutral and don‘t engage in content-wise discussions. A certain minimum level of knowledge about the content of your workshop must exist. Your knowledge refering to the PROCESS and the DIDACTICS should be high!

6 Question: Where do you see your participants?

During the course of the workshop, they will even enlarge it further. Their knowledge about the PROCESS and the DIDACTICS are low and doesn‘t need to increase. Workshops are more about the content than about the methodology.

10 content high low high trainer participants Training - trainer process/didactics As a trainer your knowledge about both CONTENT and PROCESS/DIDACTICS must be high.

12 content high low high trainer participants Training - participants Increase of knowledge process/didactics Your participants initially only have little knowledge about CONTENT and PROCESS/DIDACTICS. Their knowledge increases during the course of the training.
