2. Dewey Conveyor Right of Way Project EIS GCC Dacotah, Inc. seeks a 100-foot wide right-of-way across one and one-half miles of National Forest and about one mile of lands administered by BLM. GCC Dacotah proposes to construct an elevated and enclosed, seven-mile long conveyor belt to transfer limestone from a new quarry site to a proposed rail load- out facility along an existing rail line near Dewey SD. Most of the proposed alignment is on private land owned by GCC Dacotah.
