2. The Early Years… Annie Macy Sullivan was born on April 14 th 1866,in Feeding Hills Massachusetts. In Annie’s early year activities/hobbies she liked reading and writing. An interesting fact about Annie was she was Helen Keller’s teacher and she lived in an orphanage half her life.

3. Annie Sullivan is Famous because… She was Helen Keller’s teacher. Annie thought herself to teach the blind and deaf.

4. The Later Years… Annie thought Helen to read and write. She thought Helen her manners. She thought Helen Braille. Annie and Helen were awarded Honorary Friendship from the Educational Institute of Scotland They were also awarded Honorary Degrees from Temple University. She died in Forest Hills Massachusetts N.Y. October 20 th 1936.

7. Fun Facts Annie could barely see herself as a child. Important visitors came to the poor house were Annie lived And Annie told them she wanted to go to SCHOOL! A man said that he would help her with her DREAM! and before she knew it she was accepted to Perkins Institution school in Boston (PIB). (PIB) was a school for the Blind Annie learned Braille, Braille is like an alphabet for the Blind Braille is raised dots that the blind feel.
