5. My poem: The Tempest Within This storm is eternal. I swallowed it, thunder and all It rages inside me And I let a few raindrops free To gush out onto my cheeks. In a bolt of lightning I spill my brilliance Because the storm never stops.

6. The Tempest Within (Continued) The rain is pummeling my insides. I shiver because my heart is cold. My cheeks are damp: I must have a leak. This storm is wreaking havoc, it brews inside my head and ideas are coming rapidly. A tornado of thought. The wind flies from my mouth, words form a hurricane. But they all come out silent because the rain inside is deafening.

7. (Continued) I roll my eyes inside my head I watch for any sign of sunshine But the clouds are blocking my sight The fog is entering through my ears The things I’ve hear leave me blind Another rumor spoiling my sight But the rain washes my eyes And I watch the storm continue: raging on for days.

8. (Continued) All my hope is wasted. The storm stops momentarily but the dryness is short lived. There is no umbrella to shelter your soul…So I wait impatiently, being pelted with wet drops as my aura is cleansed. The smog from the pollution of my innocence—the poisoning of the soul—is slowly being driven out by the tempest within. And I am almost whole again.

AROOGA CHARACTORS LOSE THEIR MINDS WE ALL DIE THE DARKNESS SPREADS TO THE EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE WHERE A SMALL PLANET’S INHABITANTS WAIT EXPECTANTLY THEY FEAR THE OUTCOME A YOUNG HERO ARISES TAMING THE CROWD. A LLAMA IS HIS ONLY FRIEND AND HE TURNS TO HIM IN SEEKING SUPPORT THE LLAMA TELLS HIM TO GO TO THE BUS STATION OF LOPUS AND EAT A HAM SANDWICH. AND SO IT ALL BEGINS.

10. YABADABADO O A European country is in the midst of war. Suddenly a bolt of lightning streaks down from the sky and kills the emperor of Las Vegas. This does not stop the war. So we turn to a yellow bus that lives on fossil fuels. It is the only hope of survival. Unexpectedly a huge hippo lands on it—crushing it to bits and pieces. So a small evil- smelling con man who pretends to be blind on the streets of New York eats a tuna sandwich and the war is resolved.
