8. The rose in the sanctuary this morning is in honor of Chloe Welch, infant daughter of Hannah Welch, born December 10, 2009, weighing 5 pounds 14 ounces. 14 ounces. Proud grandparents are Kevin and Laurie Welch.

9. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Wheetley request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their children, Alice Naomi and Stephen Chase, on the ninth day of January, at three o'clock at First Baptist Church, Sheridan. Reception to follow in Fellowship Hall.

10. WEDNESDAY NIGHT services and activities will be cancelled this week in celebration of the holiday season. The church office will be closed December 30-January 1.

11. DEACON'S MEETING will be next Sunday, January 3, at 8:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Deacons of the Month for January are Keith Newkirk and Mike Alexander, with Ed Tabor as alternate.

12. We will observe the Ordinance of the Lord's Supper next Sunday morning during the Morning Worship Service.

13. LOTTIE MOON The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering will end next Sunday. Prayerfully consider giving to support International Missions.

14. CONTRIBUTIONS Contributions for the 2009 tax year may be made through this coming week. Please turn them into the church office and mark the envelope for 2009.
