8 Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975
This applies to ALL sports grounds with spectators Set up by Wheatley Committee in 1972 partially because of the disaster at a stadium in Glasgow Steel barriers on stairway 13 gave way – 66 people were suffocated to death

9 Hillsborough Disaster 1989
The Hillsborough Disaster was a human crush that occurred on 15th April 1989 at Hillsborough, a football stadium, the home of Sheffield Wednesday FC. Resulted in the deaths of 96 people and 766 being injured, all fans of Liverpool F.C It remains the deadliest stadium – related disaster in British history and one of the worst ever international football accidents.
